Hello there! I'm Monica or Mo, as everyone calls me. I live in Berkley with my 2 awesome kiddos and 2 guinea pigs. When I am not taking pictures I like to bowl, travel, camp, play board games & pinball and try new vegan restaurants in town. I love rock n roll so I go to shows, a lot of shows, more than anyone my age should but that just proves how much energy I have.
Let me tell you a little about my photography background:
My grandparents bought me my first camera when I was in second grade. It didn't take long for me to realize that taking photographs was something that I loved. Photography has always been a constant in my life. I graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in photography/fine arts. I take this craft seriously and feel privileged that I can make this my career. I am available for family, newborn, wedding, or event photography in the Metro Detroit area (I will also travel anywhere). For me, It's not about that perfect instagram post, it's about making my clients happy. I will provide you with images that are modern yet timeless. These photos are not only for you but for future generations to cherish.
